Booking an Appointment

  • What are your hours and how do I book an appointment?

Our shop is open by appointment only during the hours listed on our contact page. Private appointments ensure your experience with our bridal stylist is personalized, intimate and individualized. Your stylist will stay with you during the appointment and gather details about your vision and assist in gown selection and gown try-on. Book your private appointment online here. Every stylist is excited to meet you and work with you to find the dress.

If you stop by the shop, and you spot a stylist who is not with a customer, feel free to pop in for a meet-and-greet.

  • Could a stylist be available outside of your normal hours?

If you need to schedule an appointment outside of our shop hours, feel free to contact us via email at veriteybride@gmail.com or by phone at 717-799-2204. You can also DM us via Instagram. Our hope is to be able to accommodate home, family, social and work schedules and we will certainly work with you to secure a mutually convenient time.

  • Is there anything I should do before my appointment?

Communication is key to a successful appointment. Before you book, we ask that you complete our bridal questionnaire so we can get a better idea of your style and your vision for your big day. Your ideas may be driven by your venue, the season, your personality, or your overall vision and design for your wedding day. The more information you share with us before your appointment and during introductions, the more successful our stylist will be in working with you to find the dress. Your stylist will ask you about the budget you have settled on as well. Don’t be discouraged if your vision is not finalized at the time of the appointment. Brides may come in looking for one type of dress and leave with another. Enjoy the moment!

  • How long is my initial appointment and is there a fee?

Your initial appointment is scheduled for 1 hour and no, we do not charge for appointments.

  • Will a cancelation fee be charged for cancellations and no-shows?

Cancellation will need to be provided at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of $50 per appointment.

  • How many people can join me during an appointment?

This will be your special day, and we appreciate your desire to share the moment that you find the dress with the people in your life who are trustworthy, supportive, loving and encouraging. Our shop can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. Remember, however, stay true to you.

  • What should I bring/wear to my appointment?

If you have already selected and purchased your wedding shoes, be sure to bring those along. Otherwise, bring heels that will be similar in height to the ones you will ultimately wear on your wedding day.

Your stylist will assist you while trying on the dresses, so comfortable undergarments are key. If you plan to wear Spanx or specific undergarments on your wedding day, please wear those to the appointment. Nude color works best. Some of our dresses have built-in support.

  • May I take pictures?

Unfortunately, our manufacturers have strict copyright rules. Just ask before you snap.

Timelines & Ordering

  • What is the timeframe like from saying "yes" to the dress, to receiving my dress?

It is best to start early. The general recommendation is that a bride begin shopping for her bridal gown no less than 10 months before the wedding date. A bridal gown may take 9 months to arrive. While dresses may arrive as soon as 6 months from ordering, do not delay. The delivery timeframe varies and is dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the designer, customizations and the industry supply chain. Delays in this industry continue to occur. A bride must likewise account for multiple alteration appointments when developing a shopping timetable. Specifically, we recommend you allot at least 3 months for alteration appointments.

  • My timetable has been reduced, would you sell a stock dress or could I place a rush order?

Every situation is different so let's chat during your initial appointment about how Veritey Bride LLC could be of assistance if you are short on time. Brides will occasionally request to purchase a stock dress in order to accommodate a fast approaching wedding date, and some designers are able to accommodate rush orders for an additional cost.

  • Can I book a second appointment and how long is that second appointment?

Of course! We offer second appointments, being 45 minutes in duration. Brides may book an initial and second appointment on the same day.

  • Do I have to pay the entire cost of the dress at the time of ordering?

Our shop requires at least a 50% deposit to order. The remaining balance shall be paid in full when your dress arrives. Don’t be surprised if you find the dress at your first appointment. Go with your instinct, you will feel wonderful knowing you found the dress!

Gowns, Sizing, & Pricing

  • What is your general price range?

The owner has worked towards stocking designers that offer gowns which vary in price. Our larger designers generally cater to the moderate budget. We understand and appreciate a brides desire for affordability without having to compromise on quality, materials, embellishments, silhouettes, and more. Veritey Bride is here for you and our stylists will never pressure you to make a purchase that does not align with your budget. Please note prices do not include any additional fees associated with finalizing the look and alterations.

  • What sizes do you carry?

We carry a range of sizes, and our designers offer an amazing range of sizes. Bridal gowns may run differently than street sizing, and the size charts differ. For example, a size 12 wedding gown may in some instances translate to a size 8 in street clothing. The sample sizes do not always fit brides perfectly, so adjustments will be made during your appointment so you can envision each dress as it will look when it fits properly.

  • What designers and styles do you stock?

Click here for our current designers and look book. Please note, our designers and the lines we carry may change periodically. If you love the designers our Company offers but do not see a specific dress in stock, we can work to request a particular dress for try-on.

In keeping with our mission of stocking intentionally and carefully curated dresses, our gowns accommodate the romantic bride, the glamorous bride, the vintage or chic bride, the fashion-forward bride, the traditional or classic bride, the relaxed bride, the whimsical bride, the elegant bride and the casual bride. Our in-store collections include A-line, ballgown, mermaid, and form-fitting dresses. From strapless dresses to long sleeve dresses, we have it all. The photographs on this site do not represent the identical dresses we carry. Check us out on Instagram to preview the dresses we have in stock.

  • Do you have trunk shows?

Our shop supplies designer styles that have been carefully and intentionally curated. However, during a trunk show, the shop will be able to offer you the opportunity to try on multiple additional styles. We are in discussions with designers about the possibility of offering trunk shows in the future, so please check back frequently! You will have to secure your spot for these shows, so don’t hesitate to verify your attendance upon learning of the opportunity.

  • Do you carry veils and accessories?

Yes, we cannot wait to work with you to select complimentary pieces. Veils and other accessories are not sold off the rack.

  • Do any of your designers offer customizations to their gowns?

    Indeed, just ask!

  • Why can't I just order a dress online?

While it may be tempting to find a deal online, it’s best to understand and appreciate the potential dangers of doing so. The process for authorization as a stockist has been adopted to provide assurance to you. The dresses we carry are shipped directly from the designers and manufacturers. Veritey Bride LLC is an authorized dealer of various designers and manufacturers, and we demand certain quality standards are met. You cannot be provided with any assurance or quality standard when placing an order online. You likewise cannot be provided any assurance you are indeed purchasing a designer gown. Pictures on the internet do not reflect gown details that are necessary to spot a counterfeit, such as the fabric type or the lace work. Designers and manufacturers warn consumers about knock-off gowns and the risk of counterfeits when purchasing online.

  • Do you have a seamstress in-house?

No, not at present. Veritey Bride LLC is working to secure a list of seamstresses in the area that could assist with alterations. Our shop is not responsible, however, for any work performed by outside seamstresses.
